Today, House Veterans’ Affairs Committee (HVAC) Vice Ranking Member Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) released the following statement after Republicans on the House Appropriations Committee unveiled their Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations bill today:    


CARNEGIE, PA — Congressman Chris Deluzio announced the winner of his first annual Congressional Art Competition. Each spring, the House of Representatives sponsors a visual art competition for high school students. Young people from across the nation are invited to showcase their art and highlight their home congressional districts. 

 

The BUILD for Veterans Act would deliver projects, bolster workforce, and save public money

 

CARNEGIE, P.A. Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) released the following statement in support of the nursing home therapists at the Brighton Rehab Wellness Center in his district who are seeking a fair contract. The union therapists at Brighton Rehab and Wellness have voted to strike unfair labor practices starting on May 6 after seven months of negotiation, especially over wage increases.
