Tours and Tickets

PLEASE NOTE: During the government shutdown, tours of the U.S. Capitol are not available. You may use the below form to request future tours of the U.S. Capitol, but if the government shutdown is still in effect on the date of your tour, it will unfortunately be canceled.

We recommend that constituents submit tour requests approximately three months in advance. The chances of scheduling a tour become increasingly unlikely the closer the request is made to the preferred tour date.

For White House Visits: Due to the sheer volume of requests and extremely limited ticket supply, obtaining a White House tour can be particularly difficult. Please note the following policies put in place by the White House.

• White House tours are only available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• White House tour requests may be submitted a minimum of 21 days in advance and no more than 90 days in advance.

• The White House Tour schedule is subject to last minute rescheduling or cancellation due to official use or inclement weather.

• Up to three tour dates can be submitted as preferences for one White House tour request.

What are these options?

Constituents who are hard of hearing or use a video phone have the option to choose TDD or VP based on the type of device they are using. This allows our office to respond to them accordingly. The default option 'Voice' is a standard audible telephone.
