About Rep. Deluzio

Elected in 2022, Congressman Chris Deluzio is serving his first term in Congress representing Pennsylvania’s 17th district. The district includes all of Beaver County and parts of Allegheny County. Congressman Deluzio is a native of Thornburg and lives with his family and dog Yankee Doodle in Allegheny County.

Congressman Deluzio is an Iraq War veteran, voting rights attorney, and union organizer. He graduated from Bishop Canevin High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree with merit from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis.

CARNEGIE, PA — On May 21, 2026, Congressman Deluzio (PA-17) passed his bill, the Railway Safety Act, as part of the must-pass transportation bill, the BUILD America 250 Act. It passed out of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on May 21, 2026, and now heads to the House floor for a vote.

WASHINGTON D.C. – Today, House Armed Service Committee member Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) introduced the Defense Industrial Base Advance Manufacturing Enhancement Act. His new bill would create a working group within the Department of Defense (DoD) to identify and implement advanced manufacturing solutions that would increase the production of critical parts. Boosting the production of mission-critical parts and products will help fix ongoing supply chain issues within the Defense Industrial Base.
