WASHINGTON, D.C. — Former voting rights attorney Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) voted no on the Republican anti-voter bill up for a vote in the House of Representatives today. If passed into law, the Republican SAVE Act could disenfranchise millions of eligible American citizens and create unnecessary administrative burdens at the state and local levels.

CARNEGIE, PA — Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) announced that $50,000 in Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) funds will be awarded to Reserve Township. The grant will help modernize Township government by purchasing new technology supplies and equipment and providing training to Township staff. Reserve Township is providing $1,350 in local funds to supplement the $50,000 in federal funding.

CARNEGIE, PA — Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) released a joint letter he signed to President Trump and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, asking them to reverse the nationwide firings of employees at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). These mass firings included hundreds terminated locally at a Pleasant Hills facility. The public servants fired from NIOSH do important work for the American people.
