WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representatives Chris Deluzio (D-PA-17), Brendan Boyle (D-PA-02), and U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) reintroduced the Ending Passenger Rail Forced Arbitration Act, legislation providing Amtrak passengers a pathway to seek justice after incidents of negligence or misconduct.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) and Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) introduced H.R 8853 to expand grant funding opportunities for Amtrak, a cornerstone of the U.S. public transportation system. The bill, the Amtrak Grant Flexibility Act, would make it easier for Amtrak to complete future projects, cut down on completion timelines, and improve passenger rail for the millions who rely on it each year.
