It passed out of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on May 21, 2026, and now heads to the House floor for a vote.

WASHINGTON D.C. – Today, House Armed Service Committee member Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) introduced the Defense Industrial Base Advance Manufacturing Enhancement Act. His new bill would create a working group within the Department of Defense (DoD) to identify and implement advanced manufacturing solutions that would increase the production of critical parts. Boosting the production of mission-critical parts and products will help fix ongoing supply chain issues within the Defense Industrial Base.
