WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Senators John Fetterman (D-PA), Bob Casey (D-PA), and House colleagues announced that the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded over $43 million to several Pennsylvania communities as part of the FY2024 Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction (LHR) Grant Program.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (D-PA-17) joined with Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA), Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT), and Congressman Raul Ruiz (D-CA-25) to introduce the Freedom from Intimidation in Elections Act of 2024. This bill would enshrine in law that every voter and election worker has the right to cast their ballot and to fulfill their duties free from intimidation.

The bill is supported by an unprecedented coalition of gun violence prevention organizations, Veterans Service Organizations, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation 

The RISE Project is being awarded a Phase Two Department of Energy “Energizing Rural Communities Prize”  

CARNEGIE, PA — Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) announced that Pittsburgh Conservation Corps, also known as Landforce, has been selected as a Track I Project for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Community Change Grants. In a Western PA and Philadelphia partnership led by Landforce, the organization will receive $13.9 million to support their work to upcycle and commercialize materials from urban tree waste, all while training local workers.
