WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) spoke out against the Senate’s upcoming vote to roll back the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Interim Final Rule (IFR) allowing the VA to provide abortion care to its veteran patients in some cases. This IFR, issued in September 2022, gives the VA the ability to provide abortion care and counseling to veterans when the life or health of the pregnant veteran would be endangered if the pregnancy were carried to term, or when the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest.

The competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives and is an opportunity to recognize and encourage artistic talent of high schoolers in the 17th Congressional District of Pennsylvania.

Constituents and local officials were able to meet Congressman Deluzio and his staff, as well as learn about the many services that congressional offices provide to its constituents.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) joined the bipartisan Fentanyl Prevention Caucus. Consisting of equal number of Representatives from both parties, this bipartisan group comes together to combat the nationwide spike in fentanyl-related overdoses and drug poisonings. Led by Congressmembers Joe Neguse, Madeleine Dean, Darrell Issa, and Ken Calvert, the Caucus meets with prevention and awareness groups, as well federal and local law enforcement, to continually monitor, research, and work to address the threat of fentanyl.
