WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Chris Deluzio (D-PA-17) alongside Representatives Morgan Luttrell (R-TX-08), Dale Strong (R-AL-05), and Elissa Slotkin (D-MI-07), introduced the Safeguarding Tactics and Operational Procedures (STOP) from Enemies Act of 2024 in the House of Representatives. This legislation would amend the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) to expand the definition of aiding the enemy to include providing military education, military training, and tactical advice to a foreign adversary.

This bipartisan legislation would provide a memorial headstone or marker through the Department of Veterans Affairs to an eligible spouse or dependent child of a veteran in a national cemetery or state or tribal Veterans cemetery regardless of the date of death.

Employers are increasingly using these technologies to monitor workers’ activities, both on and off duty, and even penalize them without sufficient oversight, accountability, or transparency.

The program is set to end by May 2024 unless Congress replenishes the appropriate funding.
