WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) voted to fund the government through March 14, 2025. Once the funding measure passes the Senate later tonight and is signed by the President, Congress will stave off yet another government shutdown and disruption of federal services. The final vote on the measure was 366 in support to 34 in opposition, with one voting present. All of the votes in opposition were by Republican congressmembers.

A companion to Senator Dick Durbin’s (D-IL) version in the U.S. Senate, this bill would roll back the current broad exemption of Minor League Baseball players from federal wage and hour laws provided by the misleadingly named Save America’s Pastime Act (SAPA).
