WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last night, Navy and Iraq War veteran Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) voted to pass H.R. 8070, the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement Act otherwise known as the 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), out of the House Armed Services Committee. This annual, bipartisan legislation successfully passed out of committee 57-1. Next, the bill heads to the House Floor for debate and vote.

CARNEGIE, PA – Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) announced that Allegheny and Beaver Counties will collectively receive more than $13.7 million in federal funding to build, renovate, and modernize the public housing stock. This funding is from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Capital Fund Program, which offers annual funding to all public housing authorities across America.
