Rep. Deluzio Hosts Leader Hakeem Jeffries for a Conversation with Western Pennsylvania Labor Leaders at Wilkinsburg Diner

WILKINSBURG, P.A. — Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) hosted House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries for a conversation with Western Pennsylvania union workers and officials. The meeting took place at Nancy’s Revival in Wilkinsburg in Congressman Deluzio’s district, a longtime favorite diner in the community.
“It was an honor to host Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries here in Western Pennsylvania so that he could hear from so many of our community’s labor leaders,” said Rep. Deluzio. “Union workers are so important to the success of America’s economy and the implementation of key policies and investments like the Infrastructure Law, The Chips and Science Act, and The Inflation Reduction Act. Leader Jeffries’ visit today is yet another example of House Democrats’ commitment to always put people over politics and to stand strong with America’s labor movement.”
The conversation focused on workers’ rights and using federal investments to grow good jobs here in Western Pennsylvania.
