Congressman Deluzio Meets with Beaver County Local Elected Officials
CENTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) met with close to a dozen local elected officials in Beaver County to better understand how he can continue to support Beaver County residents in Congress. Their conversations focused on local needs, concerning incidents of violent crime across Beaver County in the past few months, and making sure that federal grants and funding get unfrozen to support local initiatives.
“Government works best when officials at every level work together, especially when it comes to the all-important issues of safe communities and securing federal funding. In my meetings today, I heard a lot of concern about how the President’s recent freeze on Congressionally-approved funding—including on funds for law enforcement—could hurt communities in Beaver County and Western Pennsylvania. I’m going to fight to get this money unfrozen and delivered to Western PA,” said Congressman Deluzio. “I’m proud to represent Beaver County in Congress—and the productive meetings I had today show just how proud local officials are to serve our communities. Working together, I know that we can deliver even more to make life better and safer across Beaver County.”
Congressman Deluzio met with the following Beaver County local elected officials today:
Beaver County Commissioner Jack Manning
Beaver County District Attorney Nate Bible
Beaver County Treasurer Sandie Egley
Beaver County Controller Maria Longo
Beaver County Clerk of Courts Judy Enslen
Beaver County Register of Wills Tracey Antoline Patton
Beaver Falls Mayor Kenya Johns
Aliquippa Mayor Dwan Walker
North Sewickley Township Board of Supervisors Chairman Tom Roush
North Sewickley Township Supervisor Brian Seeger
North Sewickley Township Supervisor Emmett Santillo
Congressman Deluzio looks forward to building even stronger partnerships across Beaver County, and working to deliver more federal funding to projects like the Montgomery Locks & Dam and a full upgrade of Route 68 in Rochester Borough.
