Congressman Deluzio Crisscrosses Beaver County, Highlights Agriculture, Small Business & Infrastructure
Visits to Hookstown Fair, Small Business Restaurant, and Montgomery Locks & Dam Part of Congressman’s Focus on Serving All Western Pennsylvanians
CENTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Congressman Chris Deluzio (D-PA-17) is wrapping up a full day visiting sites and talking with constituents across Beaver County during Congress’ August district work period. Congressman Deluzio enjoyed the Hookstown Fair, where he met with the Brunton family to talk about the federal grant funding he helped them secure to recover from the devastating 2023 fire at Brunton Dairy Farm. He then had lunch at Café Kolache in Beaver Borough. The Congressman finished the day touring the US Army Corps of Engineers’ ongoing work to modernize the Montgomery Locks & Dam—a mega project that will be a shot in the arm for Western PA’s economy, for which Congressman Deluzio secured a Project Labor Agreement and is fighting hard to deliver $183 million in federal funding.
“Beaver County has got it all—thriving farms, small businesses that are the lifeblood of communities, and critical infrastructure that powers our region’s economy. Days like these are one of my favorite parts of serving Beaver County in Congress,” said Congressman Deluzio. “Today’s visits sum up what I’m fighting for down in Washington—an America where everyone who works hard and plays by the rules gets their American Dream.”
