WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (D-PA-17) announced that Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is receiving $6,381,745 in new infrastructure funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). The Congressman released the following statement:

“I am thrilled to help deliver more than $11 million in federal dollars for our region’s airports, including more than $6 million for Pittsburgh International Airport in my district, that will help improve taxiways, keep workers safer, grow good union jobs, and reduce on-site pollution,” said Rep. Chris Deluzio. “Our airport is an important employer and connects us to the broader economy—and I am proud to bring home these federal investments so the airport can serve our region even better in the years to come.”
